Notocactus concinnus spec. Casupa nom. prov.
Bedeutung des Namens: concinnus (lat.) = zierlich; Casupa = nach dem Fundort Casupa
Die Pflanzen von N. concinnus spec. Casupa in unseren Sammlungen stammen vorwiegend aus der Kakteengärtnerei Köhres, der Ursprung der Pflanzen soll angeblich eine Aufsammlung von H.S. Schlosser (um 1977?) sein. Um die Verwirrung komplett zu machen, wurde um 1990 kurzzeitig unterschieden zwischen "Casupa helle Form" und "Casupa dunkle Form" - beide Formen sollen in der Sammlung Köhres gefunden worden sein. Die hier abgebildete Pflanze entspricht der "dunklen Form", ebenso wie die unten aufgeführte Arbeitsbeschreibung aus INTERNOTO 12 (4).
Die Pflanzen fallen auf durch die fast schwarzgrünen Körper und die ebenfalls fast schwarzen, borstigen und bis zu 25mm langen Mitteldornen; die sehr schlanktrichterigen Blüten können einen Durchmesser von bis zu 10cm erreichen!
